8 assault complaints lobbed against Astumbo teacher

It appears that there are more allegations of assault that are being lodged against an Astumbo Elementary School teacher who was removed from the classroom earlier this month.

Guam - It appears that there are more allegations of assault that are being lodged against an Astumbo Elementary School teacher who was removed from the classroom earlier this month. Claims of child abuse had been made against the teacher who is currently assigned to a division at the Department of Education's Central Offices.

DOE deputy superintendent Rob Malay confirms the administrative investigation is still underway. Police were notified of the complaints and are currently investigating but no arrests have been made.

A total of eight assault complaints were formally recorded by the police department on Wednesday.
