Guam - The University of Guam's Isla Center for the Arts opens its exhibition Shortcuts: The Art Of Jeff Harris February 28 and runs through March 29. The exhibition includes 200 issues that Harris produced for the internationally syndicated educational feature Shortcuts.

Born and raised on Guam, Harris is the syndicated writer/illustrator of the comic strip shortcuts. He holds an MFA from Art Institute of Pittsburgh and has taught full-time at the same school in courses for drawing, color and design, storyboarding, image manipulation, 2d animation, Photoshop, Illustrator and computer illustration.

The public is invited to his lecture on Friday, March 1 at the Class Lecture Hall from 6 to 7pm.

Gallery hours are Monday through Friday 10am to 5pm, Saturdays 10am to 2pm and closed Sundays. Admission is free.
