Guam - Chad Ryan De Soto, 21, was indicted by a Superior Court grand jury today on 3 counts of aggravated murder and 12 counts of attempted aggravated murder.  De Soto is currently being held behind bars on $3 million cash bail following last week's rampage in Tumon that left three people dead and injured 11 others.

De Soto drove his car onto the sidewalk in Tumon hitting six pedestrians resulting in the death of 51-year-old Hitsoi Yokota.  He proceeded up the sidewalk until he crashed into the ABC Store under the Outrigger Hotel and got out and began stabbing people at random until he was taken down and arrested. Two of the stabbing victims, 28-year-old Rie Sugiyama and 81-year-old Haruko Uehara died from injuries they sustained.

The two were here with 18 other family members and friends to attend a wedding that was scheduled for the day after the Tumon tragedy.

De Soto is scheduled to answer to the criminal charges next Wednesday.
