Guam - Auditors gave the Guam Visitors Bureau a clean report for Fiscal Year 2012. GVB ended last fiscal year with a $3.1 million increase in net assets, nearly double the previous fiscal year. Auditors also noted the tourism industry saw an 11% increase in visitor arrivals for a total of 1.3 million visitors during FY2012.
According to the audit, GVB also experienced an increase in total revenues during the year and simultaneously took proactive measures to control its operating expenses. You can read the report on GuamOPA.org.
