March proclaimed Chamorro Month

In celebrating the language and culture of the Chamorro people, Lieutenant Governor Ray Tenorio proclaimed March as Chamorro Month.

Guam - In celebrating the language and culture of the Chamorro people, Lieutenant Governor Ray Tenorio proclaimed March as Chamorro Month. Joined by dozens of representatives from Chamorro Affairs, the Guam Council on the Arts and Humanities, the Hurao Academy and Pa'a Taotaotano, the Governor's Office revealed the theme for Chamorro Month, which is "Know the Language of our Elders and Use it Everyday".

Several activities are planned including the unveiling of the Master Series posters, along with moving forward with the Hagatna Master Plan.
