Body of missing Russian tourist recovered near Saipan

Guam - The body of a missing Russian tourist was located by a crew from the Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25 on Monday night two and half nautical miles off of Saipan. The Coast Guard, Navy and Saipan's Department of Public Safety had been searching for a man who had gone snorkeling at the Obyan Beach Lagoon but never returned.

Rescue officials utilized night vision equipment and a marker buoy that helped in the search.  A High Seas and Small Craft Advisory remain in effect through Wednesday night for the entire Marianas.
