Guam - Governor Eddie Calvo may have dreams of consolidating Department of Public Works bussing services and Guam Regional Transit Authority services, but not without some roadblocks. At Tuesday's roundtable, GRTA's Felix Dungca says there may be legislation that prevents these operations from comingling.

"Although we run busses, the schedules the clientele the hours the destinations those are all different," he explained.

DPW director Carl Dominguez adds that the agency transports 39,000 students daily who must be picked up not too far from where they live. Funding sources, bus shelters, bus driver training, and ADA compliance will also be issues.
