Names of Victims Released

Guam - The magistrates complaint listing the charges against Chad Ryan Desoto provides the list of victims from last night's tragedy in Tumon. Desoto is accused of speeding through Tumon in his car and pummeling over tourists who were walking along the sidewalk. He started from the Globe Night Club , drove about 300 yards and crashed into the ABC store underneath the Outrigger Hotel where he got out and started stabbing people. A total of 14 people were injured, 2 of which died.
The following 6 people were injured after being hit by Desoto's car:

6-Kana Furuyama
The following 8 people were stabbed
1-Kasuko Uehara
2-Rie Sugiyama
3-Rui Sugiyama
4-Jane Doe II (not identified)
5-R.S. (June 2012)
6-Haruka Furuyama
7-Kaylani Quichocho
8-Yusuke Sugiyama
The two that were killed were identified as:
Kazuko Uehara (81 years old)
Rie Sugiyama (29 year old her 8 month old son was one of the stabbing victims)
According to the Magistrate's Complaint, Desoto told police officers he intended on "hurting as many people with his vehicle initially and subsequently with his knife". Desoto appeared in the Superior Court of Guam this afternoon in an orange Department of Corrections jumpsuit. He is being held on $2 million bail.
