Guam - A 28-year-old woman and an 82-year-old woman were among three victims who were killed in a horrific incident in Tumon that sent more than a dozen people to the Guam Memorial Hospital. A man believed to be in his 20s is in police custody after he allegedly drove a 2007 Toyota Yaris on the sidewalk in Tumon in front of The Globe and struck six pedestrians and then crashed into the ABC Store under the Hard Rock Cafe and got out and stabbed seven people.

GMH Nursing Supervisor Shirley Pinera confirms that a 28-year-old woman had been stabbed and
was pronounced dead at 10:40 Tuesday night. She said an 82-year-old female tourist was pronounced dead at the scene and brought into the hospital around 5 o'clock Wednesday morning. Pinera did not have information about the third fatality that police announced during an early morning press conference at the Tumon-Tamuning Precinct.

Pinera confirms that two children, an 8-month-old and a 3-year-old, were stabbed and were admitted to the pediatric ward where they are currently listed in stable condition. A male tourist is in critical condition. Pinera says eight victims were stabbed and six were struck by the car.

Police have only classified the case as a death investigation until all of the details are sorted out. A portion of Pale San Vitores Road was blocked from Sandcastle to The Plaza as dozens of bystanders looked-on at the scene. Police have not released the name of the driver who is in custody.
