Guam - The Governor's Communications Office this afternoon issued a fraud alert to its database of GovGuam employees, warning them about a bogus e-mail purportedly from Governor Eddie Calvo.

According to Adelup it started with an e-mail containing a fake conversation between Lieutenant Governor Ray Tenorio and the governor regarding President Barack Obama's upcoming State of the Union Address.  The conversation was then purportedly e-mailed from Calvo to several staffers.

Troy Torres says the e-mail address was fake and did not come from Calvo. Tenorio also confirmed he didn't e-mail the governor about the president's address. The incident has been forward to local and federal authorities.
