Guam - Guam's 2012 Law Day activities garnered national recognition from the American Bar Association. Guam's law week program was presented the Outstanding Law Day Activity Award for its innovative program that reflected the 2012 national Law Day theme of "No Courts, No Justice, No Freedom" and significant involvement of the legal community in programs for youth, and adults The activities included a "Lawyers on the Air" segment where attorneys responded to radio station caller inquiries, a law fair, a video showcasing the importance of open and accessible courts that aired on public television stations as well as art and essay contests, court tours, a 5K run and a mock trial.

Planning meanwhile for the 2013 Law Day is underway. This year's theme is "Realizing the Dream: Equality for All" and will be focused on the movement for civil and human rights in America and its impact it in promoting the ideal of equality under the law. Schools, community organizations, social justice advocates and the general public are invited to participate in the 2013 Guam Law Week program.
