Man sentenced for possession of child porn

Guam - Galileo Capacit Cruz was sentenced to six-and-a-half years behind bars for possession of child pornography.  Cruz was found using his personal computer to download 20 movies containing sexually explicit acts involving children who were being raped and tortured.

U.S. Attorney Alicia Limtiaco says the prosecution is part of the U.S. Department of Justice's Project Safe Childhood initiative.  Cruz must register as a sex offender.

The case was investigated by the FBI and the Air Force Office of Special Investigation.
