Guam - Jury selection began today for Michael Rosal, Jr., charged with attempted murder and aggravated assault for striking Cameron Masnayon in the head repeatedly with a baseball bat and hitting him with a wooden rake handle, during a fight back in March of last year.  Michael is being tried separately from his brother, Daniel Rosal, who is scheduled to appear in court for a pre-trial conference on February 27.

The third co-defendant, William San Nicolas, Jr., pleaded guilty to assault and agreed to testify against the two Rosals during their trials.  The defense contends the two brothers were defending themselves and it was Masnayon, who came at them with a baseball bat and broke all the windows to their car.
