Guam - The Guam Medical Association is inviting the community to its free flu vaccination and health consultation outreach program scheduled for this weekend. Only 300 vaccines are available. So you will need to get their early.

GMA member Dr. Hoa Van Nguyen says although Guam's flu peak season is over, residents should still consider getting the shot. "We're so close to Japan and Japan is in its cold season at this point and usually with the Japanese tourists influx that when they have the flu epidemic there they usually transfer that to Guam," the physician explained.

Free flu shots are being given on a first come/first serve basis. The GMA's outreach is scheduled for this Saturday, February 9 from 1:45 in the afternoon to 5 o'clock at the Micronesia Mall's Center Court.
