Sam Shinohara named bizdev chief for United

Guam - Sam Shinohara has been named as United Airlines new managing director of business development for Asia/Pacific. He joined Continental Micronesia ten years ago and was most recently serving as the managing director of finance and accounting for United's Asia Pacific operations. In his new role he will manage all commercial activities for Guam and Micronesia in addition to marketing activities for the Asia/Pacific Region. Shinohara was born and raised in Guam and holds a bachelor's of business administration with a major in accounting from the University of Hawaii.
