Aurora Resort being remodeled

Guam - The Korean Herald reports that Lotte Hotel is remodeling the Aurora Resort and Spa in Tumon. The company's goal is to create the most luxurious hotel in Guam. Lotte invested about $9 million in remodeling the facility. The company plans to send its staff from Seoul to Guam to upgrade the services to meet the hotel's standards.

Despite local media reports that Lotte purchased the hotel , a press release states there are no plans at the moment to purchase the Aurora. Lotte Group is one of the companies in the running for the airport's  multimillion-dollar retail concessionaire contract.

Lotte Group is a Korean conglomerate and has grown to become the fifth largest in Korea.
