Guam - DNA samples helped to put a sexual predator behind bars. Juan Jose Torres was sentenced to eight years behind bars after he was convicted of sexually assaulting a female minor.  The victim had been raped over a three-year period and it was a DNA sample that helped secure the case against Torres, who was a positive match.

Torres was found guilty of 3rd degree criminal sexual conduct and two counts of assault in July of last year.  The Attorney General's Office says Torres is originally from Peru and will be given credit for time served, which is under one year.
