Men jailed after stealing vodka from store

Guam - Two men are behind bars after they tried to steal a bottle of vodka from a mom-and-pop store in broad daylight. According to court documents, Ben Shusy and Saingo Ignacio walked into KNS Mart in Mangilao.  Ignacio allegedly grabbed a bottle of vodka and tried to leave but the cashier's husband stopped the men before they could leave.

Despite being hit in the face with a bottle of vodka, the man was able to hold on to one of the suspects onto police arrived.  Officers found the other suspect hidden in the jungle area nearby.  

Shusy and Ignacio have been charged with 3rd degree robbery.
