CLTC signs several leases

Guam - The Chamorro Land Trust Commission signed several leases this afternoon at Adelup. "Again, it's the governor's inspiration allowing our people to build and farm and compete in the governor's Guamanian Dream," said Monte Mafnas, director of the Department of Land Management. 

Mafnas says a total of 19 leases were signed 15 of which were residential and four were agricultural. The CLTC also issued three land for the landless deeds. For many it was a dream come true after waiting for more than a decade. 

"Some of them been waiting since 1995 so it's a blessed day and we are humbled and elated to assist all those lessees," he said.
