Guam - The funeral for the late Jonathan Jake Tenorio will be held this Friday at Santa Teresita Catholic Church in Mangilao. Tenorio was found dead inside his California apartment a week ago. The former Guam resident died from a single stab wound to his chest.

His younger brother, Zachary, who was in California for a jiu jitsu tournament is being held without bail for murder. He is scheduled to be arraigned in San Diego on Wednesday Guam time. Tenorio's wife, Christine, arrived in California and will be bringing Jonathan's body back home on Thursday night. The funeral is set for Friday with the public viewing scheduled for 9am-1pm. Interment will follow at the Veterans Cemetery in Piti.

Tenorio graduated from George Washington High School in 2004 and graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy last year. He was a naval officer assigned to the U.S.S. Bunker Hill.
