Guam - The Legislative Committee on Education will be holding a roundtable to discuss the University of Guam's plans to close the Planetarium. The facility is set to close at the end of the spring semester.
The university is actively looking at alternatives and considering options to provide planetarium shows at a public museum or at individual school sites.
Speaker Judi Won Pat has called for the roundtable to identify a solution to allow the Planetarium to continue serving the people of Guam. The roundtable will be held on Monday at 9:30 in the morning at the Legislative Public Hearing Room.
