Tenorio Arraignment Delayed
Guam - The arraignment hearing for 21-year-old Zachary Tenorio has been continued until Tuesday, February 5th. According to San Diego District Attorney's Office Communications Director Steve Walker a criminal complaint has been filed against Tenorio charging him with one count of murder with the allegation that he used a deadly weapon. Zachary is accused of murdering his older brother Jonathan Jake Tenorio. Jonathan was found dead Monday morning (Guam time) in his apartment complex in Mission Valley. Friends here in Guam are shocked about the incident saying the brothers are really close. Jonathan recently graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy and was assigned to the U.S.S. Bunker Hill. Friends told KUAM Zachary was in San Diego to attend a jiujitsu tournament and was staying with his brother. If he is convicted, Zachary faces 26 years to life in state prison. According to Walker he remains in custody with no bail set.
