Guam - Senator Tommy Morrison, who is the co-sponsor of Bill 19 and a former Guam National Olympic Committee athlete, issued a press release today to clear up misinformation about the bill. He says the bill does not target or affect all other non-profit organizations. Morrison says it focuses on the Guam National Olympic Lottery.  He adds his support for the bill comes from national athletes and sports federations whom he has spoken to over the years who have questioned where the GNOC Lottery proceeds are going. The Republican lawmaker adds, " the lottery generated $3.7 million in ticket sales last year, yet sports federations are still having to fundraise and their sports facilities are still in shambles. There's something clearly wrong with this picture."
