GHURA breaks ground on Summer Green residences

Guam - The Guam Housing and urban Renewal Authority broke ground this morning on the summer green residences in Tamuning. The affordable home project will provide 72 two and three bedroom apartments including several that are accessible for individuals with disabilities.
Tower 70 was awarded more than $2,000,000 in Low-Income Housing Tax Credits for the project. CoreTech development CEO Juno Eun said, "We still are on a mission. i believe summer green residence will help those who need a home with affordable rent and summer green will be one of the best affordable homes in our community."
CoreTech has committed to contribute one thousand affordable homes as part of the governor's initiative to provide 3,000 affordable homes in the next few years.
GHURA meanwhile is in the process of accepting comments for its 2013 Qualified Allocation Plan that will result in the distribution of $3,000,000 in tax credits to qualified developers.
