Guam Homeland Security hosted a FEMA workshop geared toward youth preparedness.

Guam - Guam Homeland Security hosted a FEMA workshop geared toward youth preparedness. The workshop aimed to instruct and arm youth program coordinators, DOE safety officers, and various other community-based youth organizations with the necessary tools and equipment needed to prepare our island's youth.

FEMA youth director Regina Moram said, "Today we are focusing on youth preparedness programming its an initiative that's being taken up across the nation and we are really excited to be here on Guam and start talking about engaging youth in preparedness behaviors. "

FEMA experts led today's workshop and have been credited for developing some of the most successful youth preparedness programs in the country.
