Guam - Police were able to locate a suspect wanted in connection with a family violence complaint when they were called to a reported hit and run at Carlos Apartments in Mangilao on Friday night.  Kson Robert, 25, was arrested on charges of aggravated assault with a special allegation of possession and use of a deadly weapon in the commission of a felony, and family violence.  

According to court documents, Robert allegedly became angry at a woman known to him and grabbed her by hair, punched and kicked her repeatedly and then struck her twice on the back with a metal pipe.  Police had attempted to locate Robert twice before but he fled.  They were able to connect him to the beating when they responded to the hit and run on Friday night and apprehended Robert when he tried to flee and crashed into the jungle.  

Robert is being held on $10,000 cash bail and was ordered to have no contact with the victim.
