Guam - Several individuals suspected of distributing crystal methamphetamine for the last couple years appeared in the Superior Court on Saturday. Luis Hocog, Quincy Aguon, Merlito Vergara, and Virgilio Demapan are charged with possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance.

As we reported, the four men were among seven people who were arrested on Thursday by police following the execution of two search warrants in Dededo. During those drug busts, police found crystal methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia as well as cash. According to court documents, police and Customs officers found crystal methamphetamine, glass pipes with methamphetamine residue, as well as cash and a surveillance system at Hocog's residence in the Green Fields area.

The magistrate's complaint states that police found Hocog allegedly trying to flush the drugs down the toilet. Officers found the powdery substance in the septic tank as well as cash inside a pipe in the toilet. Hocog is being held on $150,000 cash bail. According to court documents, Hocog told police he does not consider himself a dealer or supplier but a "middleman who makes some profit" from selling the drug Ice.

Aguon, Vergara, and Demapan are being held on $250,000 cash bail. The three men reportedly stay at a home along Swamp Road where police found more than 80 grams of the drug ice, and $5,100 in cash, 12 mobile phones, drug paraphernalia, and various ledgers that police believe are drug-related transactions.

According to court documents, Aguon, Vergara and Demapan admitted to police that they have been selling drugs for some time and all live together at the home on Swamp Road. Vergara told police he sells crystal methamphetamine and makes between $400-$500 a day. Demapan also admitted to selling crystal methamphetamine. The four men are expected to appear back in court for a preliminary hearing on February 5.
