Police make major drug bust

More than $66,000 worth of crystal methamphetamine was taken off the streets and 7 people allegedly involved in drug distribution on island are behind bars tonight.

Guam - More than $66,000 worth of crystal methamphetamine was taken off the streets and 7 people allegedly involved in drug distribution on island are behind bars tonight. KUAM News has confirmed that the Guam Police Department made a major drug bust on Thursday following the execution of two search warrants at two Dededo homes one along Swamp Road and another in the Green Fields area. 

Police seized 80 grams of the drug Ice and several thousand dollars in cash as well as other equipment that police believe were part of the illegal drug activity. Seven men were arrested in connection with the case charged with possession and/or distribution of a Schedule II Controlled Substance. 

Quincy Aguon, Virgilio Demapan, Luis Hocog, and Merlito Pineda Vergara, Antonio Jao Jr., Paul Quenga, and Mark Tedtaotao Trinidad were all arrested and placed behind bars.  Hocog was also charged with illegal delivery, dispensing or manufacturing.  Police have not provided any other information related to the case. The men were not magistrated in the Superior Court of Guam today and are expected to appear in court on Saturday.
