JRM Command speaks to Rotarians

Joint Region Marianas commander Rear Admiral Tilghman Payne spoke before the Rotary Club of Guam today discussing the importance of a symbiotic relationship between a community and the military.

Guam - Joint Region Marianas commander Rear Admiral Tilghman Payne spoke before the Rotary Club of Guam today discussing the importance of a symbiotic relationship between a community and the military. He also spoke on how important Guam's strategic location is for the united states and our allies.  He said, "When we look out into the future for the next ten, twenty, thirty years for the Department of Defense, for the security of our country, for the challenges and opportunities reside in the Pacific. The emerging economies reside in the Pacific - this is where we need to be."

Payne also spoke about how Guam plays a key part logistically when rearming and refueling along with the tremendous training opportunities.
