Oceanview gym ribbon cutting next Friday

Guam - The Oceanview Middle School Knights will finally have use of their newly renovated gym. OMS principal Lynda Hernandez-Avilla says the Department of Public Health gave the all-clear this morning during their sanitary inspection.

The Department of Public Works prematurely gave an occupancy permit following the Guam Fire Department's inspection last week. The gym was condemned in 2001 after an earthquake.

The ribbon cutting ceremony is set for February 1 at 10am.
