Guam - Guam's facilities managed more, treated more, and released more toxic chemicals into the environment in 2011 when compared to 2010. According to a release from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, the 16% increase (37,764lbs) was mostly due to Naval Base Guam, Apra Harbor WWTP (68% of total releases), all of which are nitrate compound.
