Guam - Although UOG President Dr. Robert Underwood has announced he plans to close down the planetarium at the end of the semester, the Legislature is stepping in, Speaker Judi Won Pat has planned a roundtable meeting for next Thursday discuss the issue, Won Pat saying closing the only planetarium in the Marianas without a viable alternative is not an option. The roundtable is scheduled for January 24 at 9:30am in the legislature's public hearing room. 

UOG has spoken to Speaker Won Pat's office and has requested to reschedule the roundtable to a later date to be confirmed.
