Guam - Upper Tumon motorists may have noticed something missing in front of the John F. Kennedy High School campus. JFK Class of 1967 alumnus Peter Alexcis Ada is calling out to all alumni and neighboring businesses to replace the four foot statue of JFK that was hit by vandals years ago.
"The business community especially around that area we'd like them a lot of the kids go to your businesses we'd like to ask you to please join us this is a community effort," he explained. "That's the name of the school now and we want to honor that."
Ada hopes to raise over $30,000 to have a life-sized statue dedicated in time for the 50th anniversary of the president's passing on November 22.
To help, call Ada at 734-777.
