Guam - The 2013 Catholic Men's Conference will be he held this weekend. According to conference spokesperson Tony Diaz, the group will discuss an array of issues such as domestic violence, suicide in Guam and Micronesia and the challenges of every day life
"It's a gathering where we get together in fellowship prayer to discuss important topics pertinent to our lives and our community and of course to give praise to Jesus Christ, who is our biggest role model of all as a man," Diaz explained.
The conference was founded by Pat Wolff, who was inspired after attending a men's conference in the mainland. The annual tradition brings together men ages 15 and older for a day of faith, fellowship, discussion and celebration from 8am-4:30pm this Saturday at the Santa Barbara Church in Dededo for more information and to register go to sbparish.org.
