GPD Makes Major Copper Wire Bust

Three men were arrested in connection to the recent rash of copper wire thefts that targeted local public schools and businesses.

Guam - Three men were arrested in connection to the recent rash of copper wire thefts that targeted local public schools and businesses.  Arrested were Freddy Susuico, Terrance Meno, and Eric Faisao. The three have been linked to the following burglaries in which 8 tons of copper wire was stolen:

-          Finegayan Elementary
-          Daniel L. Perez Elementary
-          FB Leon Guerrero Middle School
-          Untalan Middle School
-          Wettengel Elementary School
-          Hawthorne/ CAT
-          Emerald Towers
-          Younex
-          Western Pacific
-          CTSI
-          Guam Football Association

Court documents identified another individual by the name of Jesse Delgado as a perpetrator but did not charge him in the Magistrates Complaint or indicate that he was arrested.  Another individual by the name of Albert Taimanglo was also mentioned but was only charged for stealing copper wire from local businesses.

Susuico, Meno and Faiso were charged with

-          Burglary
-          Theft of Property
-          Crimes against the Community

Taimanglo was charged with:

-          Burglary
-          Theft of Property

The group is accused of stealing copper wire and taking it to an unregulated recycling center in Dededo.
