Guam - A man who allegedly fled the island and is wanted on Guam for distribution of methamphetamines was captured in the Philippines. The U.S. Marshals Service arrested Patrick Jude Brennan, Jr. when he arrived at the Guam International Airport Authority on Thursday morning.
Brennan was charged in a sealed indictment back in February of last year charged with distribution of the drug ice and conspiracy for selling various quantities of meth in June and July 2010. The feds also charged him with a forfeiture allegation for his Toyota FJ Cruiser as they believe it was purchased with drug proceeds.
According to the U.S. Marshal Service, back in November they developed information that Brennan had fled to the Philippines.
With the assistance of the International Investigations Branch and the Philippine Immigration Bureau, Brennan was arrested on December 27 in Taguig City and transported to Manila for deportation.
The case against Brennan was unsealed today and he pleaded not guilty to the multiple charges.
His defense attorney sought his release but it was denied and he is scheduled to go to trial on March 19.
