Guam - The Simon Sanchez High School "Leave your Mark" project is back. This time, the English senior class led by teacher Gretchen Andres is looking to raise funds to purchase a new marquee for the Yigo campus.

SSHS senior Raiden Redila says the purchase of a new marquee would encourage neighboring families to get involved with school events. "The marquee we had a quote of about $14,000 - that's a lot of money we need the community help we're doing fundraisers to get that money before the school ends," Redila said.

The students are calling on alumni to make donations for their project. Call the school for more information.
