Academic Challenge Bowl Champions announced for school year 2025-2026

The Guam Department of Education’s Academic Special Events program announced the champions of the Academic Challenge Bowl for the 2025–2026 school year, recognizing the outstanding academic achievement and dedication of students across Guam.

The program provides opportunities for high-achieving and academically inclined students to engage in challenging competitions that encourage self-guided learning, leadership, and exploration of college and career pathways.

The program also provides a platform for students to showcase their passion for academics while developing critical thinking and teamwork skills.

The ASE competitions are organized under the Guam Department of Education’s Curriculum and Instructional Improvement, Life Readiness Project and consist of four major academic activities:

National Forensic League (NFL) – High School

Academic Challenge Bowl (ACB) – Middle School and High School

Mathcounts – Middle School

Math Olympiad – Elementary School

This season, the Academic Challenge Bowl competitions for both middle and high school divisions have concluded, with teams demonstrating exceptional knowledge, preparation, and teamwork.

Middle School Champions:

The Middle School Academic Challenge Bowl Champions for the 2025–2026 school year are Saint John's School (Guam) coached by Andrew Mathews.
