Guam - A money-saving tip if you plan on taking the GED exam before the last day of 2012: doing so will save you $30. On January 1, the public-private partnership that now runs the high school equivalent diploma exam via computer testing will increase the test price to $90; and then after New Year's Day of 2014, the price jumps to $125.

The current test assesses math, language arts, composition, reading, science, and social studies, with the Guam Community College being the island's official testing center.
