Concerns were raised about the timelines that are set out in the law and when the audit must be completed. Commissioners questioned whether the 30-45 day time frame is adequate enough to carry out the mandates and requests were made to ask the legislature to amend the law and extend the deadline or remove it from the measure all together. There is also concern about how the commission will be able to afford conducting the audit.
