Guam - The Guam Election Commission is having its legal counsel review the recently passed election reform measure that requires the GEC to conduct an audit of the 2010 general election.  Concerns were raised about the timelines that are set out in the law and when the audit must be completed.  Commissioners questioned whether the 30-45 day time frame is adequate enough to carry out the mandates and requests were made to ask the legislature to amend the law and extend the deadline or remove it from the measure all together.  There is also concern about how the commission will be able to afford conducting the audit.
