Weather forecasters continue to monitor a busy weather pattern across the region as Invest 95W near Yap remains the main system of concern.

The disturbance is currently rated Medium for development by the Joint Typhoon Warning Center, meaning it could still strengthen into a tropical cyclone beyond the next 24 hours. If organization increases, the system could be upgraded to high, triggering a tropical cyclone formation alert.

Invest 95W is expected to move toward the Marianas within the next day or two, bringing increasing showers and unstable weather.

Another system, Invest 96W east of Saipan, is also being watched but is not the primary focus.

Residents in Guam, the CNMI, Yap, and Palau are urged to stay alert as conditions can change quickly. A weather alert will be issued if Invest 95W shows significant changes.
