Guam - Earlier this month the Senate passed its version of the National Defense Authorization Act. And according to Congresswoman Madeleine Bordallo's office, the Conference Committee is ongoing in trying to reconcile the House and the Senate versions of the defense bill. They add Guam's delegate to Congress is a conferee and is pushing for all areas pertaining to Guam with not only the military buildup but for Guam funding along with support for Congressman Gregorio Kilili Sablan's amendment to ensuring the display of U.S. territorial flags at military installations across the globe are alongside flags of the 50 states.
