Man who allegedly beat woman arrested

Guam - A 28-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly brutally beat a woman known to him earlier this week. According to court documents, Vince Cyrus Petros, Jr. allegedly head-butted the woman after accusing her of having an affair. He is then accused of pushing her into the mud, then slapping her repeatedly. Documents state he denied striking the victim. He was charged with family violence and assault. Petros was released on a $1,000 performance bond, and is scheduled to return to court on January 3.
