Aguon found not guilty of stalking

A woman accused of stalking the public affairs officer of the<br />Marine Corps Activity &ndash; Guam was found not guilty in<br />Superior Court this afternoon.

Guam – A woman accused of stalking the public affairs officer of the
Marine Corps Activity – Guam Aisha Bakkar, was found not guilty in
Superior Court this afternoon. Janet Aguon stood trial in court this
past week charged with simple stalking as a third degree felony. She
was accused of texting intimate messages and making unexpected
appearances at the public affairs officers home between April and July
of 2011. Aguon testified that they had a mutual friendship, and even
helped watch Bakkar's children on more than one occasion. Bakkar also
testified that they shared a lot of things because they were good
friends. A Superior court jury spent most of today deliberating, and
announced the not guilty verdict this afternoon.
