Guam - The Salvation Army is in need of a Christmas miracle. Captain Kelley Buckbee-Lutcher says their Santa's Toy Shop Gift Assistance Program is in need of 4,000 gifts, but by the looks of today, only have a handful.

He said, "At this point it looks like we should be concerned we have a lot of faith in our community that they are going to step up and bring stuff. One of the most important things in this time of year is the ability to have a spirit that wants to give towards other people and the community. It's a wonderful opportunity and not only does it help other people it helps your relationship with your community and each other."

To make a donation, drop unused gifts for children and teenagers to the KUAM Studios in Harmon weekdays from 9am to 5pm until December 18 when toys are set for distribution at the Salvation Army in Tiyan.
