Guam - The Guam Memorial Hospital's new chief financial officer will start the job on Monday.  Alan Ulrich of Arizona was selected to fix the hospital's finances. He served as interim chief financial officer for Gila River Healthcare and has also worked at hospitals in Hawaii and Arizona.

Hospital administrator Joseph Verga says he looks forward to working closely with Ulrich to transform the hospital's fiscal operations and move forward to establish financial stability for the hospital.  Ulrich will be paid $145,000 a year plus benefits under a two-year performance based contract.  Upon Ulrich's arrival on Monday, acting CFO Jun Infante will return to his previous position as general accounting supervisor.
