Guam - It's a blast to the past as the University Singers and the University of Guam Jazz Band are putting on "1952 - The Year UOG Began" concert this weekend as part of the university's 60th anniversary celebration. According to University Singers president Andrew Gumataotao, audience members will hear music you'd hear on Armed Forces Radio as well as Chamorro favorites complete with costumes and quonset huts.

Gumataotao told KUAM News, "I think this is a really good concert, especially for culture there's a lot of songs that will bring back nostalgia. It's a good family show that shows Guam in a different time in a different era."

Admission is free at the UOG Fine Arts Theater, with the show starting at 7:30pm.
