Guam – The Guam Police Department is investigating a stabbing that
sent two men to the Guam Memorial Hospital late Friday night. The
incident happened at the Yigo Amusement Park during the Rap and Reggae
in the Park concert just after 11pm. GFD medics transported the two
victims to the hospital, and authorities ordered concertgoers to clear
out the facility once the main event ended around midnight.
Authorities pointed out blood on the ground from the victims, and
police cordoned off that portion of the park grounds with crime scene
tape to conduct their investigation. The stabbing occurred in the
middle of a huge crowd of participants in front of the main stage, so
police have not yet made any arrests or have identified any suspects
at this time.  One man, 40, is in critical but stable condition after
suffering multiple stab wounds. GMH nursing supervisor Celi Mangrobang
says the man underwent surgery this morning and is recovering in the
hospital's intensive care unit. The second male victim, 25, was
treated for his stab wounds and discharged last night.

Anyone with information about the stabbing is asked to contact police
or Guam Crimestoppers at 477-HELP.
