Guam - The Guam Education Board gave the green light for the Okkodo High School expansion project. The board approved a resolution to begin the financing. DOE superintendent Jon Fernandez says the expansion would allow for 2,000 students, 800 more than the current enrollment at the Dededo school.

Along with additional classrooms, the plan also calls for additional labs, a resurfaced track, and additional athletic facilities.

The project would cost over $20 million with payments to come from Section 30 revenues.
