Guam - Thanks to the generosity of the community, the Salvation Army has enough food for tomorrow's 16th Annual Thanksgiving Luncheon. Two weeks ago the organization wasn't sure whether they'd have enough food to the event, but Captain Mike Lutcher says the community pulled through.

He told KUAM News, "Everything that we had asked for - ham, for turkeys, for the stuffing, for water for ice, everything - we had asked for the community has stepped up and we're ready for tomorrow. So we're ready for about 1,300 to 1,500 people to come and just enjoy."

The annual feast begins at 10 in the morning at Chamorro Village in Hagatna. Food bags will also be distributed to those in need filled with collections of canned goods and other items donated by the local community and businesses.
